Terms of service
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all purchases made on mur.jewelry (the "Store"). The Store is operated by Alona Tsavoliuk, Ryleeva 4b, 10, 88017 Uzhgorod, Ukraine, email info@mur.jewelry ("MUR", "we", "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
2. Merchant of Record
The Store is integrated with the Western Bid™ e-commerce platform. Western Bid, Inc. is the Merchant of Record for all purchases made in the Store and processes payments, which is why "WESTERN BID" appears as the payee on your statement. Your rights as a consumer described in these Terms and our policies are not affected by this arrangement; for any question about your order, contact us at info@mur.jewelry.
3. Products
Our jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver; many pieces include freshwater pearls, and some include other stones such as moissanite or cubic zirconia, as stated in each product description. Many pieces are plated to enhance their appearance and protect the surface; plating wears gradually with use. Freshwater pearls are organic, so each piece may differ slightly in shape, size, colour and surface from the photographs. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency selected in the Store and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you place your order. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties and taxes may apply and are paid by the recipient. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
5. Orders and conclusion of the contract
Product listings in the Store are an invitation to make an offer. By clicking the final order button at checkout, you submit a binding offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email or ship the goods. We may decline an order, for example in the case of an obvious pricing error or if a product is unavailable; in that case any payment will be refunded in full.
6. Payment
Payment is due at the time of ordering. Available payment methods are shown at checkout (for example PayPal and payment cards). Payments are processed by Western Bid, Inc. as Merchant of Record through its payment partners.
7. Delivery
Delivery times and costs are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you when you, or a person you name, receive the goods.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Details, exceptions and the model withdrawal form are set out in our Return & Refund Policy.
9. Statutory warranty
You have the statutory rights provided by law in case of lack of conformity of the goods. Details are set out in our Return & Refund Policy. These Terms do not limit your statutory rights.
10. Custom orders
Custom pieces are made to your specifications after we agree the design, price and production time with you in writing. Because they are made to order, custom pieces are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Please review your specifications carefully before confirming.
11. Promotions and gift ring
From time to time we may offer promotions, such as a complimentary ring with orders of two or more items. The gift ring is selected by us to match the metal of your order; please include your ring size in the order note. Promotions are subject to availability and may end at any time. If you return items so that an order no longer qualifies for a promotion, the gift item must be returned as well.
12. Gift cards
Digital gift cards can be redeemed in the Store and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
13. Customer accounts
If you create an account, please keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
14. Reviews and content you submit
If you submit reviews, photos or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content is not unlawful or misleading. We may moderate or remove content that breaches these Terms.
15. Intellectual property
All content in the Store, including designs, photographs, texts and the MUR name and logo, belongs to MUR or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
16. Liability
We are liable under the statutory provisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where this is not permitted by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.
18. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first at info@mur.jewelry — we aim to reply within 1–2 business days. As a consumer, you may also contact your national consumer protection authority or use out-of-court dispute resolution bodies available in your country.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
